SHOWS IN THE STREETS AND SQUARES OF ALL DISTRICTS    THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE HEALTH SITUATION ALLOWS ACTIVITIES IN THE STREET ALTHOUGH WITH REDUCED CAPACITY

Summer arrives on the streets and squares of all districts with cultural and leisure activities to spend summer afternoons. The main stages where the activities will take place: the gardens of Can Sumarro and the Tecla Sala Cultural Centre in District I; the Marquesa Park in District II, Plaça de Maria Artigal, Can Trinxet, the Alhambra Park and Plaça dels Veïns in District III; the La Bòbila Cultural Centre, the Plaça de la Carpa, Plaça de la Bòbila, Plaça de la Llibertat and Plaça d’Eivissa, Avinguda de la Primavera, the “Blocs Florida” and the open area of the Les Planes Park in Districts IV and V, and Bellvitge Park and the Cultural Centre in District VI.

After a year of absence, the Mobile Word Congress comes back to the precinct of Fira in Granvia him L'H and with him L'Hospitalet Experience, the initiative that the Town Council, in collaboration with the Association of Gastronomy and Tourism of L'Hospitalet and the Baix Llobregat and of different entities, restaurateurs and cultural agents of the city he carries out to introduce L'Hospitalet among the visitors of the contest and to spread the importance of the mobile technologies among the citizenship.

The second edition of Berdache, the festival of visual and performing arts focused on gender and identity, will be held from 19 to 28 June. Berdache presents eleven proposals for theatre, music, dance, visual arts, poetry, stage intervention and performance with the support of the L’H Cultural District.

The artist Matteo Guidi exhibits “Regalos reales” (“Royal Gifts”) at Harmonia, a work based on the curiosity cabinets of European nobles and bourgeois, which proliferated from the 16th century onwards, where they collected and exhibited exotic objects from all over the world. In Guidi’s exhibition, the cabinet of curiosities consists of a recreation of the institutional gifts received by the king and queen and their family.

The Mayor of L’Hospitalet, Núria Marín; Laia Ripoll, Head of Events Europe at GSMA, and the Secretary of State for Digitisation and Artificial Intelligence of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, Carmen Artigas, have this afternoon opened the conferences “Connected impact: a technological transformation on a human scale”, organised by the City Council and GSMA on the occasion of the celebration of #MWC21.
