Description

The La Florida - Ana Diaz Rico Municipal Centre opened on 19 January 2013. It is named after the historic neighbour who was a member of the Neighbourhood Association. A great diversity of cultural activities are carried out at this facility, promoted by the local administration itself, the institutions of the region and the neighbours.

Located at the foot of the square, it becomes a local service. The facility consists of four rooms for activities, as well as a soundproof room for music. Some of the regular activities that are carried out: computer courses, literacy courses, flamenco guitar workshop, craft workshops, film cycles, movement and body awareness activities, conversation in Catalan, publishing laboratory, community radio workshop, music residences, family space. There are also occasional activities such as talks, district councils, and popular celebrations (carnivals, neighbourhood parties).
