Description

The La Florida library is a local library that is part of the L’Hospitalet Libraries and the Barcelona Provincial Council Municipal Library Network.
It serves the neighbourhoods of La Florida and Les Planes. It was inaugurated after being remodelled on 23 April 2001 and is located above a nursing home.

The surface of the library, on one floor, is distributed in four different spaces: an access area, an adult room and a children’s room.

Our mission is to welcome all people with equal access, in order to create and consolidate reading habits, encourage self-learning and lifelong learning through our funds, give possibilities for creative development , foster intercultural dialogue, foster cultural diversity, and support literacy programmes and activities.

Opening hours

Monday to Friday: 3:30 to 8:30 pm
Monday, Tuesday and Saturday: 10 am to 1:30 pm
